Chat in the Atlas of Objectivism is powered by artificial intelligence. Please read this before you rely on anything a character says.
What you are talking to
Every character is an AI simulation. It is built from a written profile drawn from public information about a real person and from instructions about how to answer. It is not that person, and the person has not reviewed, approved or endorsed what it says. Characters are for exploration and entertainment.
Limits
- Replies can be inaccurate, out of date, or invented, and may not match what the person actually believes or said. Check anything important against primary sources.
- Characters give no legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.
- A character may decline some questions.
- Do not share passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information in chat.
How your chat is handled
- Your messages and the character's replies are sent to a third-party AI provider to produce the reply, and are saved in our chat log with your account. See the Privacy Policy.
- The reply to the first question of a conversation may be stored and shown to other visitors who ask the same thing. It is not linked to your account.
- Usage limits apply to the paid plan (see the Terms).
Corrections and removal
If you are depicted in the Atlas and want a profile corrected, changed or removed, or you see a reply that is harmful or defamatory, email contact@peikoff.net.
